Diets don’t work they do harm, thin does not equal healthy, and you have the right to remain in whatever body you have.

Even a fat body.

If you are ready to release yourself from the messages taught by oppressive systems which disconnect all of us from our bodies and profit off our shame, then you’ve come to the right place.

My therapy sessions are a safe space to be yourself, no matter what body you’re in. When working with me, you will never ever hear me pathologize eating with language like “emotional eating”, “food addiction”, “sugar addiction”, “fattening”, or use dichotomous language about food by labeling foods as “bad” or “good” foods. I will never praise weight loss nor will I encourage you to lose weight. I will help you advocate for your self to receive weight nuetral health care and unlearn internalized fatphobia (no matter your size), so that you can trust that you are doing what you need to do to care for your health and body with confidence and without shame.

If you have a history of dieting, body shame, and food restriction, I will work with you to heal from this traumatizing history. Using the theory and techniques of Body Trust, I will guide you toward an empowered, embodied, compassionate and nurturing relationship with your body and with food.

Body Trust is a trauma informed, strength based, and scientific healing practice rooted in neuroscience, intuitive eating, Health at Every Size, and numerous academic liberatory frameworks. To learn more about Body Trust click here.
